Role Overview
As a Shopify Plus Architect at La Confianza, you will be the technical lead for high-volume D2C and B2B e-commerce brands. You will design custom private app solutions, headless Next.js storefronts, Checkout Extensibility scripts, and real-time ERP inventory sync bridges.
Key Focus Areas & Impact

Headless & Theme Engineering: Architect bespoke Liquid themes and headless Next.js / Hydrogen storefront implementations.

Custom Shopify App Architecture: Build private and public apps using Node.js, GraphQL Admin APIs, and Remix/React.

Checkout Extensibility & Functions: Implement custom discount functions, checkout ui extensions, and ERP integration connectors.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Architect enterprise Shopify Plus storefronts, custom Liquid themes, and headless Next.js implementations.
- Develop custom public and private Shopify apps using Node.js, GraphQL Admin APIs, and Remix/React.
- Implement Shopify Checkout Extensibility, Functions, and custom discount/pricing logic.
- Integrate Shopify storefronts with Salesforce CRM, NetSuite, SAP, and automated warehouse management systems.
- Execute site performance audits, Core Web Vitals optimization, and code quality governance.
Required & Preferred Skills
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of e-commerce web engineering experience, with at least 3 years specializing in Shopify Plus.
- Deep expertise in Liquid, Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, GraphQL, and JavaScript.
- Experience building custom Shopify apps using Node.js, React, or Remix.
- Proven track record of high-concurrency storefront launches and data migrations.
Preferred Skills
- Shopify Partner Certification.
- Experience with Headless Commerce architectures (Hydrogen or Next.js Storefronts).
